BMW wanted to hold a motorcycle manufacturer in Taiwan, Kymco to supply two-cylinder motorcycle engines. This machine uses gas fuel for generator plug-in hybrid cars i3. By adding this engine, mileage original cars from 60-90 miles (95-145 km) to 402.3 km.

Kymco will also supply engines for 400 cc scooter for BMW, filling the segment under two models C 647 cc. The latest model is still under investigation and not yet known when launched.
BMW Motorrad is also developing C-Evolution, an electric scooter with the same i3, including lithium-ion batteries.
